As our visitors and exhibitors come from all parts of the UK we decided to call our 26th Open Show 'The All England Koi Show'. The quality of the koi was even higher than last year and we received many favourable comments from people from up and down the country.
Our international team of judges were Mike Harvey (South Africa) Toen Feyen, Anja Albertsboer (Netherlands) Louis Vanreusel (Belgium) Bill Johnson, Carol McCall, Tony Sheffield & Allen Tait (UK). A total of 350 koi were benched and we thank their owners who brought their koi for us all to see.
We introduced a Trip to Japan raffle with Yume Koi which was won by Nigel Yerrell who is the Chairman of the Sussex and North Essex Koi Club.
