I am pleased to announce that our Spring Koi Show was well received in spite of it being very cold. Many of the visitors I spoke to had travelled a long way, we had visitors from the Midlands, Yorkshire, Wales and Tipperary (Ireland) who said they had left at 3am to join us at our show.
There was a total of 286 koi displayed in 39 show vats which included twenty one new 2.5 metre fibre glass vats purchased and made specially for the occasion. Judging took place on Saturday and we used the new 'koi show pro' software benching program which reduced the administration considerably.
We have received numerous favourable comments and everyone is looking forward to our 'All England Koi Show' in September.
